Our Sun is about 4.5 billion years old.
This is a star trail. A star trail is a special photograph. It shows
how the stars look like they move in the night. It looks like the
stars move in a circle. You can see it in the photograph.
Make a picture of the night sky. Your teacher will give you the
materials you need. Put lots of stars in your picture!
Now choose one star on your picture. Draw a circle to show
how it looks like it moves in a star trail.
Show your picture to a partner. Try to explain to your partner
why your star looks like it is moving. It is not really moving. So
why does it look like it is?
