Making a Prediction
Do we have more daylight hours in summer or winter?
You will make a guess called a prediction.
Choose your prediction in your Workbook.
Finding Evidence
You can test if your prediction is right by getting evidence.
You will find out if it is light at four times of the day:
1 at 7 a.m.
2 at 9 a.m.
3 at 5 p.m.
4 at 7 p.m.
You will do this once every month.
Your teacher will tell you when.
Use the instructions in the Workbook to get your evidence.
A day is 24 hours on Earth but it is different on other planets.
It is only 16 hours on Neptune but 5832 hours on Venus!
