Your class will be a model of the Solar System.

Your teacher will choose one person to be the Sun. This person

needs to stand in the centre of the space.

                This person does not move.

Next your teacher will choose someone to be Mercury. This

person walks in a circle around the Sun.

Now your teacher will choose someone to be Venus. This

person walks in a circle around the other two people.

Your teacher will put more planets in the model. At the end
there will be eight planets orbiting the Sun.

The planets need to move around the Sun and not stop. Do

not touch each other. Stay in your orbits.

                Remember which planet you are.

Maybe your teacher will ask someone to be the Moon.

What do they need to do?

The order of the planets is:
                 T

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,

                                                  Uranus, Neptune.

Mercury is nearest to the Sun.
