You will make a Solar System in your classroom.

1 Your teacher will give you a piece of card.

This is your planet. Your teacher will tell you the name of the

planet.

2 Write down the name of the planet on the card.

3 Now make the card look like your planet.

You can use paints or crayons. Use the diagram of the Solar

System above to help you.

4 Your teacher will put a long string across the room.

The Sun will be at one end. Tell your teacher where your
planet should go. Make sure it has the right planets next to

it.
