                 Making a Prediction

Look outside. Can you say what season it is?

Your guess is called a prediction. Write your prediction in your

                 Workbook.

                 Finding Evidence

You can test if your prediction is right by getting evidence.

You will look at four pieces of evidence:

1 Where the Sun is in the sky at noon (12 p.m. in the

                    afternoon)

2 The temperature (how hot or cold it is)

3 How well plants are growing

4 The time of sunrise and sunset

These can all show us the season.

Use the instructions in the Workbook to get your evidence.

1 How do you know the season?

2 What evidence can you look for?
