Gravity is a non-contact force. We
could not live on Earth without gravity.

All objects have gravity and can attract
other objects. The gravitational pull
of an object depends on its mass.
The larger the mass, the stronger the

gravitational pull.
The Earth has a large mass, so it has

a strong force of gravity, which pulls
everything on Earth toward the centre.

We can see the effect of gravity all around us.

The Moon is also attracted by the gravitational pull of the Earth. This is why
the Moon orbits the Earth.
