                   Graphs are a useful way of showing data.

                   A distance-time graph tells us information about a journey. These graphs
                   show three different journeys.

                   The gradient of the line tells us the speed that an object is travelling at.

                   • A steeper gradient means that the object is travelling more quickly.

                   • A horizontal line means that the object is not moving; it is stationary.
