Hydrologists are scientists who study water on Earth. They look at how
water is used and where it is.

There is a lot of water on Earth and this water is always recycled.
Sometimes, the water is not in the right place at the right time for people to
use.

It is very important to understand the water cycle because it helps to know
how water moves on and around the Earth. The water cycle explains where
water goes, how it gets there, and what happens to it at different parts of

the cycle.
