 Electricity and Magnetism  Opener Problem


                        Look at the situation below.
                        Hanane’s mum asks her to find all the iron nails in a mixture of
                        materials. She tells Hanane to get a magnet from the kitchen

                        because it will help. Hanane walks across the carpet to the kitchen
                        door but, as she touches the door handle, she feels a pain in her
                        hand.

                        When Hanane gets to the kitchen, she cannot find a magnet. She
                        can only find a long piece of copper wire and a cell. Will these
                        objects be useful? Why or why not?
