Let’s Learn
Everything that moves or changes needs energy. Without energy there
would be no sound, no light, no movement, no heat and no electricity.
Without energy, you could not walk, talk, play or learn. All of the systems in
your body need energy to work. All of the cells in your body need energy to
grow and make new cells.
Where do we get our energy from? It comes from the food that we eat!
Food is chemical energy that is broken down by your body in the digestive
system and changed into energy that you can use. This energy helps your
body to move, grow, repair itself, stay warm and stay healthy.
