Electrical energy is a clean, safe form of energy that we know is there when
we need it.

Different appliances use different amounts of electrical energy. They
transfer this energy into different forms. Appliances that transfer electrical
energy into heat or kinetic energy use more energy than appliances that
transfer electrical energy into light or sound energy.
