                       Did You Know?

                    A mid-ocean ridge is a mountain
range under the ocean. They are

made when two of Earth’s plates
move away from each other. This
                    leaves a space where magma
                    comes out. This magma becomes

                    new rock and makes the
                    underwater mountains.
