Let’s Learn
Particles in solids, liquids and gases are always moving. How much they
move depends on how much energy they have.
In solids, the particles vibrate in a fixed position.
In liquids, the particles have a bit more space so they can move a little
more.
In gases, the particles are spread out and move very quickly in different
directions. The particles fill all of the space there is. When the particles hit
another particle or the side of a container, they bounce off and change
direction.
